I thought I’d enter my cover for the Ebook Cover Design Awards over at The Book Designer.com. Here’s what I wrote on the submission:

“I just wanted a simple design that wasn’t too ‘in your face’ considering the book’s title, but I also wanted it to convey the slightly tongue-in-cheek and humorous aspect of the book’s content. I hope the subject isn’t too inappropriate.”

Here’s what Joel Freidlander said:

“I think you hit exactly the right tone, and you definitely have the “title of the month.” There’s nothing inappropriate about sex or sex education, and the lighthearted graphic style is perfect. (And thanks for a tongue-in-cheek author name, too.)”

I didn’t win anything but nice to know the cover works.
